In this seminar, students will
read and discuss an easy introduction to Global Englishes written for EFL students. We will have lectures on the topics below and
watch brief English documentaries. Students will present on those topics, too. We
will also promote Iwami in English through our seminar website
(iwami-travelguide.com) and seminar social media accounts, mainly Instagram
(iwamitravelguidejapan). In order to do this, we will have workshops on
photography and social media from local experts. We will visit sites in Iwami
to learn about its landscape and rich culture.
