This course will give students a better understanding of Computer-Mediated Communication. Students will learn the difference between synchronous and asynchronous communication and which medium is most suitable for differing situations. This will include discussions of various modes of communication, such as video, audio, textual, and visual. The strengths and weaknesses of numerous platforms will be explored, and students will better understand each purpose and audience.
